What started the Juno's Journey Home Foundation?
We were inspired to honor our beloved passed dog, Juno, by building an animal rescue to support animals that have experienced trauma and are seeking a safe place to decompress and learn how to trust themselves and others again, or sometimes for the very first time.
Juno touched the heart of every person she met, and we want to continue her legacy in a unique way.
I found a lost animal, what do I do?
If you have found an animal, regardless of the circumstances, you should scan for a microchip. It will be free and available at most animal rescues or veterinary hospitals. There are likely Facebook groups for your area to post lost/ found pets, but you can also reach out to a local rescue for assistance in posting a found animal!
Even if the animal appears to be in bad shape, the dog may have been missing or stolen for an extended amount of time. If you believe the animal has been mistreated but it has a microchip, please consult with a professional veterinarian and ask what the best course of action is for the wellbeing of the animal.

Does JJHF offer spay/ neuter services?
No, JJHF does not provide spay/ neuter services, however, we are happy to point you in the direction of a low-cost clinic in your area. Spay/ Neuter services are something we would love to provide in the future as funding allows. Thank you for your understanding.
What makes Juno's Journey Home Foundation different?
We aim to provide stability, love, and consistent care to each animal in our rescue. This includes potty training, kennel training, leash training and socialization with people and other animals, including other species. We keep each animal in our care for an average of 3 months before posting them for adoption so we can better gauge their personality and pair them with the best fitting home possible.
Together, we are rewriting their stories.
